Hadland House offers self-catering accommodation for upto 6 people, situated close to the seaside village of Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales.  There are plenty of buckets and spades here for you but remember to bring your own beach towels and maybe a torch for moonlit walks on the local beaches.

Situated on the spectacular five-mile sweep of Swansea Bay, on the sandy coastline of South Wales, the city of Swansea enjoys a breath-taking location. Together with a vibrant city spirit and superb modern attractions, it’s no wonder Swansea is a popular place to visit. As the second largest city in Wales, it’s not just award-winning beaches and unspoilt countryside that Swansea can boast about. The city is home to an award-winning university, a Premier League football team and stadium and an ancient castle, as well as a thriving cultural scene. From cosy pubs in the city to stylish restaurants and bars in the marina to mouth-watering local ice cream parlours on the pier at Mumbles, and with a range of music, dance, theatre, film, festivals and arts venues, there’s something for everybody when it comes to entertainment in Swansea. There’s plenty to do in the local area The National Waterfront Museum, the Dylan Thomas Centre and Swansea Museum offer a fascinating window into the history of the city and its residents, while the Quadrant and the city centre offer a wealth of shopping options to suit every taste and pocket. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate Swansea’s striking LC leisure centre, which offers excellent fitness facilities as well as a wave machine, 30ft climbing wall, an indoor play area, a spa, and a sauna. Transport Swansea’s train station is on the mainline, providing frequent and convenient links to a range of UK destinations, including London, Bristol, and Birmingham, as well as trains to West Wales. The A483 and the M4 give excellent access to Swansea and mean Cardiff, Bristol and Carmarthen are all within easy reach. Swansea has three Park and Ride sites, and there is also a comprehensive network of bus routes to villages, towns, and cities in the area. For destinations further afield, the nearest international airport is Cardiff International, just an hour away, and has a good selection of both national and international destinations, whether for business or pleasure.
